On April 3^rd 2021, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized the opening ceremony of 1^st Training Course in 2021 on Higher Education and Vocational School Quality Accreditation (32^th Course). Participants in the training course are leaders, lecturers, and quality assurance officers of education management agencies, higher education institutions, colleges and vocational schools. VNU Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-CEA) was assigned by VNU to organize this training course.

The delegations joined the event: Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET); Prof. Dr Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Director of VNU Academic Affairs Department; On the side of VNU-CEA were Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice Director and Dr. Dinh Van Toan – Vice Director; and lecturers along with all learners.

Spoke at the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Dr Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc emphasized the objectives and outputs of the training course, believed that the trainees after completing the training course would play an important role in quality assurance activities in their higher education institutions and would participate in education quality assessment and accreditation activities, contribute to the management and improvement of the higher education quality of Vietnam.

Dr. Le My Phong acknowledged and highly appreciated the experience of VNU and VNU-CEA in training education quality assessors, while also emphasized the capacities of assessors that are required  in accordance with the spirit of the regulations on assessors issued by MOET.

The 1^st Training Course in 2021 on Higher Education and Vocational School Quality Accreditation will take place from March 27^th 2021 April 25^th 2021 and was organized into 3 Modules. Module A is conducted online from March 27 to April 2, 2021, Module B from April 3, 2021 to April 8, 2021 and Module C from April 9. to April 25, 2021.
